Backgroung

Pooling and interpreting results of patient-important outcome measures such as quality of life in the context of systematic reviews presents challenges.

Aims

To understand the options for meta-analyses of patient-reported outcomes in meta-analysis.

Program

This workshop is targeted at those with a basic understanding of meta-analysis and of patient-reported outcomes who are interested in conducting meta-analyses, particularly in the when investigators use different instruments to measure the same construct.  The format will be an interactive lecture.
